By arguing that psychic evolution is taking place commits one to the idea that brain evolution is taking place, since the psyche is not independent of the brain. So far, no brain evolution is taking place in populations. The man speaking in this video covers his butt so to speak by saying “It isn’t something that can be understood quantitatively”. Anyone could make up a load of crap and argue by saying “Oh no, its not something you can understand
@Jammieg001 scientifically!” And then people would go oooooooh, aaaaaah! Its ridiculous if you ask me. People who believe what this man posits believe it because the idea in some way sounds attractive, more attractive than the cold hard scientific view. People are sheep who don’t think for themselves. Try harnessing the power of thought you were endowed with and think for yourself, as I do. You may find great satisfaction in it.
It’s obvious a lot of people give in to the hype and superstition. It’s already been proven that the maya calender wasn’t referring to 2012, but at least 2 centuries after that, it was simply a miscalculation. 2012 will not happen. Life will go on as it is. Let this be a reminder that people who ramble on about this incorrectly are not scientist of any kind, they only think they are.

You seem like a smart guy?..I do have to question WHY? you seem to always criticize or become critical of people who express themselves. My right/left side of brain tells me when you become triggerd or angry with someone quickly..It’s usually something that reminds you of your own faults..Try compassion and leave your left side of the EGO and the door..Maybe you will have a better understanding of what my imperfection of words is saying..with much respect . I am not criticizing people per se, but the irrationality, and furthermore, the unfoundedness of the argument that ‘psychic evolution’ is taking place. It is logically meaningless to say such a thing, there is no support for it. Furthermore, everyone I seem to talk with here has this dualist notion that people are essentially two things: a left brain and a right brain

Isn’t that what he was saying though. That a rational person would have a hard time understanding such things as a “psychic evolution”. When you hear that phase, it seems what most comes to most people’s minds is close to the fictional “force” in the Star Wars saga, but I think what he’s talking about here is something almost entirely different.
