With all the galaxies in space there has to be many Planet X’s. But I wouldn’t put too much stock in the ones you read about on YouTube.
Hi. Probably not.
I think that most of the crazy and credulous responses on the youtube videos are actually jokes. No one is stupid enough to really believe that crap.
You’re not the only one, but if enough people put their trust in Youtube, the popular media, and their own gut feelings, you might be among the tiny minority.
I will be there with you. What is it about people that they have to feel that they’ve got some special inside information that no one else knows? There is no Planet X or Nibiru. It’s a myth.
I wish I could laugh at it, but it’s just too sad. All these ignoramuses actually believeing they have the real scoop. And sure they love to freak themselves out. Among those who have children, I wonder how many of them have considered the possible effects of their breathless hysteria and aggressive gullibility on their kids.
Joesixpack, I wish that were true, but a lot of people believe in ridiculous things. There are true flat earth people. There are millions who believe biblical creation and timeline over the scientific description. There are a couple billion who worship a meteoroid and who are ordered by their scriptures to kill and enslave others who do not. When James Randi went on stage and did exactly the same tricks that Uri Geller did, he showed them how the trick was done. Their common response: "You used trickery. Geller didn’t." There are now millions of people who actually don’t believe we went to the moon, all because of one hack documentary repeatedly aired on Fox. There are now millions of people who believe the world is going to end because of one bogus documentary aired repeatedly on the History Channel. And let’s not forget the increasing number of people who are beginning to believe the US government committed the 9-11 attacks. Well, if Ed Asner and Charlie Sheen believe it, then it MUST be true! The list goes on and on. The need to believe in nonsense is a psychological pandemic that has plagued our species ever since we supposedly learned how to think.
nah dude ur not the only one
there millions of ignorants
millinons a gulible people
and others:) in between
but u do belong to the ignorat crowd make no mistake about it:)
Your mind is like a parachute if it isn’t open, it doesn’t work.
Anyone that does not have yogurt between the ears laughs or sneers. Most of the non-yogurt brained don’t bother watching the shite and if they do would not leave a comment anyway.
EDIT – It’s got Brant worked up. Actually I think those that put this stuff about should be charged with spreading "fear and terror". A night in the cells and a fine in court might make them think again twice about putting this stuff on the net or on TV and I would include the TV people personally responsible, not corporately. A few executives in the watch house along with a nightly harvest of drunks might change their corporate policies. How much bail? Few thousand?
Of course we could pillory them and chuck rotten tomatoes. That would be fun. Rotten potatoes are better though, they smell a lot worse.
congrats on having a working brain!!… you are among the smart ones!….. we need more like you….
what worries me is the few that DO believe, whole-heartedly, that the world will end due to this nonsense…. and, somewhere, there will be a child, terrified, who will end his life to avoid seeing it all happen…. and if ONE child dies because of this, who will take up arms against the History Channel and all the rest to make them pay for the terror they have handed out?…..terrorists are terrorists, right?….
No. There are lots of reasonable people who agree with you that the whole hype is a lot of hooey.
Kinda reminds me of the panic that ensued when Orson Welles broadcast his radio dramatization of "The War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells. Many people panicked, and some even committed suicide to avoid the "Martian invasion".
There are astounding numbers of incredibly gullible people in this world. But most of the nutjobs seem to be concentrated here on Yahoo! Answers.
Don’t worry about being the only one. I, among others, will be be on the floor cracking up at January 1st 2013.
Of course, some wacko’s going to think that the world will end on 1/3/13.
