Nibiru was the name for Jupiter that the Babylonians used. The modern fairy tale was invented by Zecharia Sitchin based on the fact that the Sumarians thought there was a 10th planet by that name. I don’t think the Sumerians really had any inkling of cloning – this is more likely to be one of those reverse engineered conclusions where vague descriptions are interpreted in a modern context.
Many civilisations talk of "other worlds" and lands. The descriptions are vague and fantastical – all good qualities for story telling.
I guarantee you that although "the records" don’t currently say anything about where planet is located, if we did find another significant sized body in the solar system, someone would be able to look at the "records" and find something that identifies this planet exactly.
I don’t really think it’s likely that we could have travelled from another planet and then have all traces of that technology – and the technology leading up to interplanetary travel – lost forever.
With humans having so many different origins, it is a wonder that we all look similar to each other, and to other apes. Did we bring all the animals with us from this other world? How did our DNA become so similar to other animals, particularly chimpanzees?
Advanced human cloning would be impossible with the crude metal tools used by the Sumerians. They also would have needed electricity and microscopes.
