I think the TEA Party has an opportunity to increase the size of its caucus in both Houses of Congress in 2012, and the Republican party can gain majorities in both Houses.

It’s entirely up to the economy, and the Republicans know this, I believe they are actively seeking to make sure that enough misery is going to be wrought on ordinary people through their slash and burn budget cuts, and their policy of setting what’s left of the middle class against each other so that the Dems will be blamed.
I’ve been disappointed before in how easy it is to sway people, after all we did re-elect Bush to dismal effect. I’m making no bets now. Obama and the Democrats in general need far better publicity about what they actually have done then they do now, they have allowed the Republicans to define them and their policies to the point that the average man has no idea that he’s gotten lower taxes under Obama.
You must be a democrat, thinking the three branches of government is the house, senate and Presidency, you seem to forget the Supreme Court like your many democratic leaders. As far as picking up a majority in the House and Senate, not a chance, already Democrats in key senate races are getting ready to vote with the Republicans trying to keep their seats.
